Charles H. Skinner - 1954-2013
CHARLES HARVEY SKINNER former resident of Savannah, GA died Thursday, February 27, 2014.
Charles was born to Harry and Ola Skinner in Savannah, GA. Charles is predeceased by his daughter, Bailey V. Skinner, his parents, and his brother, John.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria P. Skinner, his son, Brad Skinner, and mother-in-law, Fran Pagliarullo. He is also survived by his daughter, Hope Skinner.
He graduated from Savannah High School in 1972, and had many friends that he kept in touch with over the years.
Charles was involved in the sales part of importing Home Decor, Silk Floral and Christmas Decorations for over 30 years...after spending the first 10 years of his career at Oelschig's Nursery, Inc....and LOVED it all!
All Charles ever wanted was to smile and be happy and surround himself with positive people. He got what he wanted...THANKS!
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, with The Rev. Tony Pagliarullo, Rev. Dr. Len Turner, and The Rev. Reland Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Remembrances may be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202.

Tori: So very saddened to learn of Charles' passing. Although we did not know him as well, we did know his folks very well from our First Baptist days. After talking, I realized we both were from Savannah and had went to SHS. My memory kicked in and I remembered Charles and Tori. My husband Dewey Grantham attended SHS and also passed away from pancreatic cancer Oct. 21, 2011. My heart goes out to you Tori and your son. May God bring a peace and comfort around you at this time that only He can. Charles is in a better place but it will be hard not having him there with you. I know, because of what I have experienced with my own husband, Dewey and his absence. I will be praying for you in the months ahead. I am so very sorry for your loss.
